Great Food, great place
Great sea food very fresh fish coupled with excellent service because the owner is there and he he keeps his eyes on whats happening the guy lives for his property and enjoys it making sure that the guest enjoy the food and appreciate the place.

A Swim in the Med then a chilled Almaza
Although the entry price is quite high-I paid the weekday rate of 30,000LL-this has got to be the best beach club in Lebanon.Theres nothing nicer than diving into the warm clear sea then enjoying an ice cold Almazaa before returning to endure another British winter!There is also a 33M pool if you want to do lengths.Facilities are clean and modern & the snack bar sells tasty sandwiches & Leb. wines and beer.Having forgotten my towel I was able to hire a large beach towel for my visit.These are also for sale-a nice souvenir as they have the club logo.The guests are a mix of well heeled locals and foreign visitors.Its worth having a chat with the legendary Capt. Fawzi, who is trilingual like many of the staff and regulars.So if you are on holiday in Lebanon or lucky enough to be a foreign resident, you must visit the Sporting Club!
